WHO WE ARE
Ash L’Esperance
grew up with a musician for a dad. She’s been performing for as long as she can remember - starting piano lessons at age 7, singing with her Dad’s band at age 9, and performing her own songs on piano & guitar for audiences since she was 12.
She studied classical voice for 10 years; has a Bachelors of Arts (highest honors) in vocal performance from Clark University; and a Masters in Music Education from Longy School of Music. She is a touring singer/songwriter with her duo, Ash & Eric, and a Professor of Practice at Clark University.
She has a lifetime of experience in performance, piano, guitar, vocal skills, theory and songwriting.
Eric L’Esperance
has been playing guitar and writing music for almost 20 years. He was informally taught by his father & uncles, learning John Denver and James Taylor songs by ear at only 14 years old.
Since then, he has performed on many stages — leading rock bands, backing professional musicians on guitar and bass, performing in folk duos & writing and producing albums.
Owner of Harvest Roots Recording, Eric specializes in helping musicians make the music they want to hear.
